I woke from a very deep sleep to the following words...
12 yr old: "MOM...the puppies pooped all over their crate....and out the sides...disgusting! You have to come clean it up!"
I thought it was 2:30 in the morning...
13yr old: "Can I stay home again today, my stomach still hurts...."
"NO..."
It was 7am...late already!
Stumble down stairs to clean up dog poo..
Cleaned...
Thought I might drink a cup of coffee to turn my morning around....make coffee, waiting for it to brew...
Look down at sad little girl puppy (Izzy), scoop her up to give her some love....
Discover she is covered with matted poop on her head and in her ears, right as I put her face to mine! Great!
Puppy in sink...washed and scrubbed!
Wake up 9 yr old and 4 yr old....doesn't go as planned
9yr old: "Do I have to go to school...????"
What is with these kids???
4yr old: "I don't like pink sweaters!!....."
Change outfit suggestions...
4yr old: "I want my pink sweater!!......"
Please tell me this is not going to be my day!
Downstairs to try and feed smaller children, discover that boy puppy (Oscar) has blood coming from his bum! Clean that....4yr old disgusted and sad all at the same time.
Throw everyone in the car, get to school within 1 minute of being tardy...for both of them.
Grab a cup of coffee from shop in hopes that I will get to drink it...after all we own a coffee shop you would think it would be easier for me to get a cup!
Home to shower and get ready for the day...
Discover that I have an full head of GREY "highlights" and only one pair of jeans that fit me comfortably, and no matter how many times I wash my hands I am still smelling puppy poo!!!!
Can take NO more....schedule a hair appointment and join the gym on the way to pick up Lily from preschool.
Had to turn this day around somehow! Ain't life Grand.....
